The WBA is a travel for the town of CT. The WBA administers and coordinates the travel activities for the boys and girls who live in , grades 4-8 in which approximately 160 participate to develop skills, teamwork and leadership.

WE AWARD GRANTS TO WINNERS OF OUR MUSIC COMPETITION TO AID THEM IN THE EXPENSE OF TRAVELLING TO IRELAND TO COMPETE AT THE ALL-IRELAND COMPETITIONS. WE ALSO PROVIDE FUNDS TO THE NORTH AMERICAN PROVINCIAL COUNCIL, A NOT-FOR-PROFIT ORGANIZATION ORGANIZED TO PROMOTE IRISH TRADITIONAL MUSIC AND CULTURE.

IN COLLABORATION WITH INSTITUT PAUL BOCUSE, THE INITIATIVE EQUIPS STUDENTS WITH UNPARALLELED SKILLS AND TECHNIQUES IN CULINARY ARTS, SERVICE, AND MANAGEMENT. IN ADDITION, STUDENTS ARE GIVEN TOOLS TO ESTABLISH CO-EXISTENCE.

The is dedicated to promoting gender equality in STEM through managing campus chapters, publishing our volunteer-run blog, and holding events. In 2019, we held our largest-to-date symposium, where we raise $130,000 and gave away $25,000 in scholarships and travel grants. This year we moved our symposium back to Boston, hosting the symposium at the Harvard Medical School. Perricone MD gave the Born Seekers fellowship at this event. The fellowship recognized women in STEM with the potential to change the world with their research. Over 350 applications from all over the US were recieved. We have 25 active collegiate chapters, and we are working to activate chapters that previously had been active. In 2020 we plan to hire a part-time executive director to help with our fundraising efforts!

TO BE A RESOURCE FOR NEEDY FAMILIES AND INDIVIDUALS OFFERING A WIDE ARRAY FREE AND PROFESSIONALLY ADMINISTERED DIRECT TO COUNTY RESIDENTS AT OUR MAIN OFFICE IN DOWNTOWN POUGHKEEPSIE AND THROUGHOUT ALL DUTCHESS COUNTY. WE OFFER ASSISTANCE WITH CASE MANAGEMENT, INCLUDING A BROAD ARRAY PROGRAMS IN EVICTION PREVENTION, SUPPORT GROUPS FOR RURAL IMMIGRANT WOMEN, SUPPORT GROUPS FOR THE DEAF , EMERGENCY FOOD SUPPORT, FREE TAX PREPARATION , CYO YOUTH RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS AND MANY VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES.
